Scales of War
Types of magic
Common folk throughout the world use the terms wizard, warlock, witch, and sorcerer interchangably. Any type of arcane magic user may bear any or all of these labels, and even priests, paladins, and others who do not make an overt attempt to link their power to a god may find themselves with one or more of these labels. There may be exceptions due to varying cultures. For instance, in Albor one is more likely to run into an actual arcane magic user, or an individual who would be able to tell the difference.
Similarly, any user of divine magic is usually called a priest, and a user of primal power sources may be mistaken for an arcane or divine user, or something entirely different.
